Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I've been waiting to take some photos of this with my mate's nice camera, but I couldn't wait.

Ken Self frame built in Hobart, Tasmania in '72. Ishawata tubing I believe. Hand painted, no decals.

Zeus hubs, Mavic MA40 rims, vintage Zeus cranks (thanks Andy!), Campy aero post, Cinelli bars, and plenty of good times.

It's an absolute dream to ride.

Finally finished customizing my Schwinn Madison. I replace stem, seat post, bars, saddle and brake lever, also took off the rear brake. It's my first track bike/fixie, so it may be not that great, but I like it a lot. It's shiny and sexy.
