Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Four.Hundred.Bucks.

Those bags are definitely Nihonipster chic, but I wasn't about to drop many hundreds of bills on a bag that he told me isn't quite waterproof. I nearly sprung for a wallet but that was about two weeks after I got my Seagull wallet so I wasn't feeling like diversifying the portfolio.

and strong enough. i killed my electrician's wire cutters by using them on brake cables. i use a dremel now and it's such a huge hassle. that's why i want cable cutters.

I like how the dremel doesn't squish the cable housing. Other than that, cable cutters rawk the house.

as to answer your question from my experience (i ride drops and am too poor to afford TTP) i have a bandana there acting as one BUT! it is also very useful to hold small stuff and tie it to your tube. For example a pack of **** and a light, or a cell phone, or anyhting that might be uncomfortable in your pocket.

hope that answers a bit.

my bandanna is wrapped around my buckle on my chrome bag. It serves 3 purposes. Pads the metal of the buckle, keeps *******s from pushing the button, and I use it to wipe sweat. It's always with me.

needed a commuter after the specialized p1 couldnt cut it over anything more than short distances.

picked this up at an auction for a fiver. spent the last few weeks fixing/upgrading/converting. its nice to ride, maybe a lil big for me.
