[QUOTE=bikerdfresh;6709669]Ebay for like $8-$15. They come in tons of colors.[/QU

Anyone know where to find a colored bike chain? I've looked on ebay and can't find any and my LBS has limited selection at high prices. Suggestions?

It's a Soma Major Taylor bar, classical indeed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_Taylor
The hub is called Histop and is made in Asia somewhere, I think it's a copy of Shimano hubs. Guess it's not top notch quality.
The frame is a Peugeot from the early 90's. More info about the setup: https://velospace.org/node/8581

Did you use the original wheels?

If so, how's the chain line? Did you have to redish?

Yep, campy record cranks. The front brake is Sram Force.

That's right- freewheel on one side, bolt-on cog on the other. The hub is a Surly "new" SS disc rear which has a 54-55mm chainline spec for the threaded side. The disc side ends up being close to the same, but that's a fairly rough measurement. Fortunately, the dish on the rear wheel ends up symmetrical.

Here's the Schwinn Traveler. It will be back in full service next winter. Industrial gray, with a top coat of reflective spray.
