Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

so, i got this quirkly little lugged steel giant in the beginning of january and decided to build it up for the hell of it. the headtube needed to be reamed, i got a torelli road fork for it and more or less put the components from my old Iro on it just to try it out. it turns out to be an amaaazingly quick ride and with the tubular wheelset on it at the moment, its surprisingly light. the frame originally came from andy white at fyxomatosis and rumor has it that its made from reynolds 531. overall, its pretty sassy.

and for all intensive purposes, that stem is on there because i lost a bet.
