Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

powder coating cost?

How much have you paid to have your frame, fork, rims, etc. powder coated? Are there different treatments/qualities? I like discuss.

don't know about the added cost of doing the rims (cause I didn't), but for frame and fork it to be sandblasted and painted was $90. Just wish I picked a different color though.

well, it's going to vary from area to area but...

around my city, about 125 for frame/fork with a sandblast and powdercoat. about 50 for a media-blast and powdercoat on 2 rims. anything else i don't know why you'd powdercoat... unless you want to make your bike look like a toy.
