Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Air Free Tires???

Saw this on bikesnobnyc. Thought it was an interesting concept. But do they work? Has anyone here used them? And for lack of a better word... Discuss

They've been around for a really, really long time, and yet almost nobody actually uses them. It's not a matter of them being new or unproven. In fact, they're quite well-proven - the proof stating that they suck absolutely. As said before, avoid at all costs.
