i have a set, i'm 195 lbs an they're super solid, run a phil lockring an forget about it. bolted up perfectly w/o spacers to my sugino 75's. another reference, my buddy has logged over 1500 street miles on them without a glitch. he's 150, no trixs just rides hard.

lol wtf, really? i just had an argument with someone about this and convinced him he was wrong; just checked my bike, and i did indeed use the mavic lockring.
i was really convinced i didn't... that's kinda funny and or embarassing. i hope he doesn't read this board.

I found the e-mail between crushkilldstroy and the craigslist seller:

CKD: Hello good sir. I would like to purchase your wheels but was hoping on a negotiable price. Are we in business?

Seller: Eat A D!ck on a negotiable price you bikeforums hom0! F U!

CKD: Sorry for the miscommunication. I will continue my search. Good luck with the sale!

p.s., I love my Mavic Ellipses. Strong as an ox, stay true as true gets, lockring issue is simply cured with .5mm BB spacer... love em!
