Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: surly cross-check, cannondale CAAD8 optimo 1

Note to self: bring own tools...

I figured I could bring my bike to my parents house for a week with just a multi-tool and some tire levers and patches and be set. cus you know, they'll have wrenches and anything else I need lying around.
OR NOT.
I can't even adjust my fenders here.

if youre bike is in such piss poor disrepair that you cant go a week without needing to do some moderate tinkering you need to get a new bike there chief.

Do you need something adjusted? I've got all the tools babe. I'm going to Columbus tomorrow for the day, but if you're desperate I could leave my crescent wrench between my back door and screen. Really a crescent wrench can get you out of most tight spots...

I would hope you don't need my cone wrenches, headset wrenches, or crank puller.

They don't have wrenches? How can someone own a house and not have wrenches?

A wrench (especially a crescent wrench/spanner) IS a multi-tool for homeowners .
