yeah, i've had mine since it came out, and i finally developed a small hole on the back, where one of the pockets is attatched. it took about one minute for my girl to fix it with black thread and a needle, and it is holding up fine.
keep in mind I've worn this hoodie a minimum of probably 4 times a week since i got it, I'd say it's holding up just fine. It's not like it was some 145 dollar streetwear nonsense.

as far as christmas goes, i'm actually very pleased that i didn't receive any bicycle stuff this year. i buy so much **** that it's kind of cool to have been given other things for once. i bought my girlfriend a set of the all orange vittoria tricomp tires and built up a geared road bike (older schwinn columbus tenax frame with vintage 105 stuff) for my father to ride around on.

Vuelta Pro 29er wheels for the Monocog, which will donate its flipflop wheels to the fixed cross bike, which gets a pair of Cane Creek SCR-5 levers, and a front BB7 for the 'cog. Oh, and my room mate gave me a nifty fleece cycling cap with fold down ear flaps.

I got a Park Tools pedal wrench (which is nice considering I almost cut the tip of my finger off trying to unstick a pedal last year), a 17t EAI cog, and a headlight/blinker set. I'm pretty stoked.

ordered myself some eggbeaters, cannondale mtb shoes, and an oval concepts stem from nashbar on christmas day with some skrilla i got from my momma. 95$ thanks to 20% christmas day discount.
then yesterday i found a nice fuji at unique thrift for pretty cheapz that I'll either make into my foul weather bike or give away.
Giving (exchanging gifts on new years) my girl a 68 gitane mixte ss with full fenders from velo orange and a pletscher rack.

ton of bike stuff (stem, seatpost, light, tires, etc) and my first brooks, which I scuffed a little shortly after mounting it on my surly.
Adds character and rides like a dream though. Also the same set of allen wrenches as redxj, but sadly no beer.

You win.
I'm still trying to man the eff up and convince myself to get the One 9 (which I'm not sure that I'm strong enough to ride well) vs. the Air 9 (which I'm not sure that I can afford to built up how I want). Please post pics somewhere when you get it built up (mtbr.com has a good 29er forum and Niner sub-forum).
