Yeah, I almost bought the EA70, but Thomson has an indestructable appeal to me. (Yeah, I've read cold forged is theoretically stronger, but Thomson's rep is better than theory.)

Thompson stuff looks great and all, but when you can buy a lighter, cheaper and stronger stem, I have a hard time justifying the price, even if Thompson does have a first-rate reputation.

Shop (QBP) rates. . . can't beat 'em. Could have had an Easton too, but I would have had to order it.

Call the Thomson factory. They can advise you of a dealer or you may even be able to buy it directly from them. Ask for David Perett. Thomson is located in my town and I just went down to the factory to pick mine up. You never know, they may be able to even make a stem for you w/out the etching that says Thomson.
