Weird "drop bars

I can't find a picture, and I'm trying to figure out what they're called. They look like drops, except the drop keeps going and each side almost connects with each other at the bottom.

I really can't think of any other way to describe them.

Butterfly bars? It's difficult to tell from your description. Either that or Drop-Ins.

can someone explain the purpose of these/why they are the "best bars ever"? it seems like the extended part of the scott bars would have you in too upright of a position for racing.

I have a pair and I never quite understood the point of them, so they've been hanging in my basement for years.

the low aero position is nice, but the reason i love mine is that there's a great hand position at what would normally be the end of the drop section. it just feels really nice to my hands.

Bikes: so many

I've got some of those bars in my parts bin. I keep having to fight the urge to flop and chop them.
