Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I hope this is going to still be a messenger event. All of the high school kids getting sperm on fixed gear bikes better not mess up traditional messenger events

^^^My thoughts exactly. Never been a messenger, but an event like this (and the NACCCs) should stay reserved for messenger only competition. It's great for others to see the events, but let 'em make their own if they wanna compete.

I am planning to be there!

Toronto CMWC in 1995 was my first ever messenger event, blew my mind.

16th CMWC, that's the foundation of tradition beyond any "scene" iif I were a messenger I would totally go. Right now if I had any cash I'd go to the NAHBS!

Will there be a general admission kind of fee? No way I'm racing but I'm down to check it out.
