Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fancy handlebar wrap trim

I was exceedingly bored this rainy weekend and embarked on a 40 minute project: world championship stripped trim on my bar wrap to match my Pista paint scheme. It was made with several stripes of labeling tape.

Last weekend, I did my other bike. (But I'm not as happy with it and will probably re-do it.)

OCD bike lovers, unite! I'd like to see other variations on this...

I usually use black electrical tape, I like the way it looks and feels and it wraps nicely. I almost did the same thing a couple weekends ago when I saw a pack of like, 5 different colors of electrical tape at fred meyer, but then I remembered I'm lazy and cheap.

Hahaha, maybe i'll look into doing it.
I just bought the black roll so i could basically cover my frame to avoid gnarling up the rattle can job and patch the rough bits that peeled a bit. Haha, top tube protector? not unless it comes on a roll!

DIY anno job on some aluminum spacers. 5 gallon bucket, some rit dye, a battery charger, and various other things aquired from your hardware store. A spacer set would be easy to do too.
