Interesting. I've always sorta wondered about those Scattante frames...the stickers look like specialized made a typo when printing up a batch. Anyone have info on what factory these come out of? Wouldn't surprise me if they came from a 'big-name' factory, just using cheaper materials and putting the off-brand stickers on them.

Do a search, there are some good threads on this frame. Basically, it's an OK frame but a little overpriced. The matching fork from Performance is waaay overpriced though.

That frame seems to drop $100 every 6 months.

That and a 40mm rake take-off Wound Up fork from ebay would be a sweet combo for under $400. That or a cheapo disc fork.

i just scored that same fork with a black ck headset for 80 bones. and yes i am tempted.

im gonna see if they drop it another 50 bucks.
