Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Don't care if it's silver or black. Who's got the down-low on these? They were selling for $35 back on chucksbikes and I missed out on a great deal.

speaking of the supertype- are there any other seatposts that are like the supertype other than the campy aero and the shimano aero ones. Basically are there any other seatposts out there that are different. it seems that the supertype questions come up all the time and I was basically wondering if there is an alternative

what's the benefit to these seatposts?
aside from the look (which, while not my style, is pretty interesting), is there any performance benefit to these?

I want them 100% unfailingly for their looks. Bah $70. Is that the cheapest?

They are cool seatposts. I get more inquiries about the post every time I go riding with a bunch of people.
