1" Threadless Headsets?

1" Threadless Headsets?
I am in the market for a 1" threadless for my Pista. My question is about what options I have. I am not looking for a bargain basement model, but I also don't feel the need to drop $100+ on a Chris King. What are some options? I have been looking at the Cane Creek S-2 (around $40), but want a few more options if possible. Sealed is prefered, but not neccesary. Any sugestions?

I have been searching via google, the search forum on this board, and on a number of online bike retailers and my LBS. I haven't found the info I needed. I will check out Miche though. Thanks.
Edit: Just looked at that Miche. That deffinately fits the bill. am just looking for as many options as possible.

Here is a silver fsa, with a double sealed mechanism (???)

And one last one to think about, silver campy chorus (not sealed)

S2 is a quality headset for the price. Can be a bit tougher to get the preload/drag right as compared to some others, but not really an issue in practice. the other cane creeks (S3, S6, &c) are just fine, also; you just have to ensure the model is right for your particular application.

Cane Creek gives you the benefits of a Chris King without the resultant wallet lightening.

The Cane Creek S2 is one of my favorite budget components, right up there with the Tektro R200A levers and Formula hubs. It's the kind of thing that you can't go wrong with, especially at the price. I used mine on two bikes and a seasons of CX without a servicing.

Campy Chorus comes (or came) in a 1" threadless version. Nice silver finish, holds up pretty well. Should be able to get one for about 1/2 the price of a Phil.
Overpriced liked most Campys stuff but still shiny and nice.

OK, so it is between the CC S-2 and the FSA Orbit Xtreme. Both about the same price with shipping factored in. Looks like the CC has some good endorsements. However, I like the looks of the FSA a bit better. If the quality is comparable, that is what I would probably get. Otherwise the CC it is.
On a side note, anyone ordered from Bikewagon.com? Looks kinda sketchy to me.

I would just like to gripe about my 1" threadless INTEGRATED cross bike (Empella) which has exactly ONE headset that is compatible (which is no longer produced) called the Campagnolo Hiddenset which costs $120 and does not have sealed bearings. It does, however, have a carbon top cap, and it is ridiculously light.
Gripe over.

+1 I've had one on one of my bike for a few years and a few thousand miles and its great. I've never had a problem adjusting it and I've never done any maintenance, even through multiple years for Michigan winters. With that being said, I think it's kind of ugly.

Maybe this is a dumb question but is a 1" headset pretty much a 1" headset? What I mean is, if something is a "mountain" headset, there wouldn't be any reason I couldn't/shouldn't use it on my track frame, right?

$50 1" Hiddenset on close-out. Don't know if you need one but you might want to get a spare since this is probably the best deal you are gonna get.

Looks would be the only reason you would choose not to use it (assuming it fits). Chris King headsets were popular with mtb bikes first.
