One guess as to why it went for such a price: have you seen the ****ing disgusting looking zip up sweatshirts that ******s wear with garbage all over them, like dollar bills and all sorts of other nonsense? It seems pop culture patterns these days are aimed at being the most outrageous, since then you are pretty cool.

It went for that much because that's how much I was willing to pay for it. It's probably a little small for me, but I love the awesome decoupage work.

if it wasn't done so poorly, i might be convinced it was a good idea.

unfortunately, it looks-- literally-- like garbage.

Como? They told me in email that it looks a lot better in real life.

Whatever dude. It's gonna look awesome with my new 650c wheel that I grabbed off of craigslist. It was for a wheelchair but I think I can make it work.

i've often wondered why crazy (usually pretty lame) graphic patterns are all the rage right now?

in terms of the bike, i think it's pretty nifty. also, from afar, it's not overly "blingy" and doesn't scream steal me... but up close (if it was actually done properly) it might look like someone spent a lot of time on it.

i think it would make for a much more fulfilling diy project.

So does the value of a frame double when I let my first grade students spray paint it? I actually get compliments on those frames.
