It's been an interesting and fun time. In the last month, I have met:

humancongereel
humangirl
cuda2k
x136
Dr. Deltron
marqueemoon
Kemmer
and the list goes on (from over the summer and when I was at NAHBS)
and then there's all the Portland folk I see all the time...

Anyone else planning a trip to Portland?

Somehow, naked people riding miniature bikes off piers into the Willamette doesn't make it into the brochures.

Or I would have been all over it.

Every time I see someone on a bike now I wonder if I know them from FGSS. Maybe I should start carrying around a printout of "post your ride" and match bikes to people, just to be creepy.

I wish I had known about this past weekend, I didn't catch on till the recovery day. Oh well.

I was in Portland a few months back, but I'd never meet any of you people, because I think a huge portion of you hate me, and a few probably want to beat me up.

That's a very good way to phrase it.

yeah, hey, it was good being up there. we never did make it to sf, mudslides and snow prevented every form of transport and we didn't have enough time to get affordable plan tickets. reda got really frustrated and went back to columbus and i spent another week and a half or so in portland and left as well. i miss the town, though. there are things i love about portland and things i love about columbus; i'd love to mix the two. portumbus.
