Saddles

Does anyone know where I can find a relatively inexpensive colored saddle (specifically red or yellow)?

I haven't seem to have had any luck.

Oh, and while I'm asking does anyone know where I can buy Michelin Speedium tires as well?

Thanks.

paint your existing saddle?
I dont know, I know those turbos come in just about every color ever and can be had on the cheap from many bike shops that hang onto used parts. Otherwise, he-bay. Maybe look into a plastic BMX saddle, those are cheap and usually can be found colorful.

well, before somebody else does, i'm gonna suggest you pick a saddle for comfort rather than looks. your taint will probably thank you. if you've figured out what sorts of saddle shapes tend to agree with your body then you can start poling around for things in different colors.

nashbar had a red saddle on the cheapness.

Or you could just get a 2x4 and some spray paint.

A lot of the BMX seats on that page come in a variety of colors, and most are around $25.

nashbar used to have selle san marco's mercuri fusion in both red and yellow for $10.99.

probably doesn't help you much.
though i will say i got one from my lbs, so check there.
it's a pretty dope saddle if you can get it for under fifteen bucks.
then again, i use mine on my trainer exclusively, so i can't say how it holds up on the road.

Bikes: Jamis Sputnik (2007) & Bridgestone RB-2 (1994).

Fizik Aliante comes in a sweet red color. Almost bought one but opted to try the Airone in black/red.
Not especially cheap though.

For the tires why not try bike tires direct?

Richard Sachs has some red and white Regals for sale. They aren't cheap, but they may be cheaper than the aforementioned Aliante.

Word on the streets is that's the same saddle that pricepoint.com sells under the name Sette Lynx for about $30.

Another word is they sell the same saddle called theTitec Pluto for five bucks more.

Then Performance Sells the Forte Pro SLX for anywhere between $35 and $50 depending on their mood and how big the "discount" is on that day.

All of them are made by Velo. I use the Forte saddle. I like it. It's comfortable and I don't expect it to last forever. (It cost me $35)

That's just the word on the streetz anyway.

Some are, and some aren't. My BMX is set up more as a cruiser, so the seat is, in fact, functional.

I got my White Selle at Perfomance for a reasonable Price. There are good Paints out there for Vinyl Carinteriors. That might work as well.I really like the DIY Job in the Resource Thread .I think i give that try on my current Beaterproject.
