I think the problem these kids are having is that you can't get anywhere fast on a BMX bike to do the tricks, and they want to be able to get to places fast + do tricks, utilizing the same bike.

Its only a matter of time until someone starts making fixed gear bikes designed to run a with smaller/wider wheels (650x30 tires?), with a smaller frame, risers, and a top tube pad. Whoever said it before me was right. Track bikes will slowly evolve into bmx bikes and in about 5-10 years bmx will super cool again. History repeats itself. |
