Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Osaka or Nagoya?

So I will be in Japan in late March in these two towns. Anyone know where I could buy a keirin frame?

Nagoya is pretty boring. There are no shops in Osaka that sell keirin frames either.
It is tough work! Did you want a new custom frame or used ex-race frame?

If you are in Osaka you could try to contact Nagasawa-san, he lives there and he makes keirin frames.

I believe that Levant and Panasonic are also based in Osaka.

Also you should go to the bike museum in Sakai while you are in Osaka.

There's a shop called Darwin in Kyoto, but I bought my frame in Nagoya. Happy hunting.
