Crash Action Photos
Show me your crash action shots!

This is Knucks epic crash, ill fill in the details of what i can. He was on a sprint for the goal with the ball (we were playing bikepolo), myself right behind him, and what it seemed was that he put himself into a skid but was thrown up, and at the same time, both feet come unclipped, by that point he is on top of his bars with his chest, balancing his body and keeping himself up, he actually rode it out for about 15-20 feet, it was a long crash, then he hit the snow bank and flew like superman and face planted into the snow. He was perfectly fine, we were all so proud and laughing so hard we just stopped in the middle of the play. Best bike crash ever, end of story!

No photo, but I've been waiting to tell this story:
I was sprinting side by side with a friend uphill. Him on a roadbike, me fixed. Anyway, as we got to the top, I guess seeing him start to coast messed with my head, and I tried to coast. I got bucked bigtime, both of my feet came out of the clips, and I was launched with my feet above the toptube, but hands still on the bars. My broken ankle was still healing at the time, but miraculously I managed to land on one foot, still straddling the moving bike. Rather than fall forward I skidded on my good foot (thanks to wet pavement) while using the bike for balance, and I came to a stop right at the intersection.
I like to think everyone who saw it thought it was on purpose, because it was the coolest stop ever. But I'll never be able to do it again.

Pretty funny that all of these so far are polo related. Makes me wonder why people use descent bikes for polo.
In atlanta we use old mtb's and kids bikes. They get seriously messed up every game. The pre-match ritual is to bang the wheels on the ground until they are true enough to spin in the frame. I guess maybe we just play harder than all ya'll.

someone PLEASE post that awesome photo series of the crash where the kid walks in front of the guy mid skid... the faces in it are priceless, and in the end there's the mysterious entrance of a lady in a red dress.

I'm the wank in the superman t-shirt. The kid that wiped out looked back at me and said something like "Holy ****e! Slow down!" and then wiped out right in front of me. I win de race!
