Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

is this for real?

https://www.glorycycles.com/bipicofr20.html

i was under the impression pista concepts were nigh impossible to come by and people were selling off their kidneys to get one.

Sadly it's true, but people do things that are complete overkill all the time. Hell, Sugino 75's, Dura Ace anything, nice tires and any wheelset that cost more than $350 could be called overkill.

There's no reason to think this is fake. The Pista factory didn't burn down or anything, they're just selling more frames right now than they can make.

i was on the preorder list from glory cycles back in january (when they told me the 08s were releasing), but i waited til late feb, cancelled the order, and bought a FTP

it's not fake, they told me that the 08s are in White and are pretty much 07s

I thought they weren't doing the concept in 08. Weren't they changing the geo and calling it something different?

i never got the hype, but i'm glad they're being priced appropriately.

i'm kinda tempted to buy one and flip it this summer.

oh, really? you don't think they're capable of making more, but aren't in order to maintain a relative degree of scarcity to drive up the amount people are willing to pay for them?
