Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Someone said steamroller and while it would be more expensive I think you'd get more use out of one in the long run if you bought the frameset and built it up yourself. Not only that but you'd learn a lot.

True, I think I might just build one up on a budget frame and fork like the EAI Brass Knuckle.

I don't know, I keep thinking about putting all the parts from my IRO back on my conversion. I miss the fender/rack mounts.
