Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? OT: Found binary encoded on campus?

So I started punching the binary from the message in our student Union into a binary to ASCII convert, got the first few words, Googled that, and figured some stuff out. It goes:

We're no strangers to love You know the rules and so do I A full commitment's what I'm thinking of You wouldn't get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand

CHORUS: Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

We've known each other for so long Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it Inside we both know what's been going on We know the game and we're gonna play it
Then it gets sketchy... but the rest of it was...

That's right. You just got Rick Rolled in binary.

You're going to get banned. This board is pretty humorless about this stuff.

I hope that link goes to a RickRoll. THAT would have been clever.

But I know better than to click on it.

The other day I got a package in the mail. I had no idea where it was from, but I opened it up and there was a Rick Astley record in it, with a note that said "You just got Rick Rolled by snail mail." Pretty legendary stuff from my roommate.
