you broke ass fools are just jealous when I wheelie by with my hed3, rocking my Jordan 3s in my Supreme flat brimmed NewEra.

just cause your sad with your lame ass IRO or Kilo TT, maybe you should steal your mamas food stamps and buy a real bike and wheelset!
so you can be a ****** too.

sniks sums it up pretty well.

666pack 04-02-08 06:34 AM

looking good has its price.

those bars, a hed3 and toshis ad you'll have to beat the chicks away from you with a bat.

rudetay 04-02-08 06:36 AM

I'd bet the cheaper, more common, lighter, and more effectively designed Easton EC90 bars are/will be more popular.

blickblocks 04-02-08 06:38 AM

Even more reason to run your bars fully untaped. To show your threads.

veeco23 04-02-08 06:39 AM

yeah, how is this new? ec90s have been around forever.

I think it would feel delicious to hold a nice thick bar for an entire race...

I mean seriously, minus the sexual innuendo, this might not be a bad idea.

Apparently you haven't seen the Mavic Io $5000 wheelset? I'd love to see these on the street.

goodall 04-02-08 08:06 AM

^ Aw no way! That just made my day. Wasn't there a bike on here that actually had flop-n-chop carbon track bars? Someone find the photo.

most ****** status component for 2008:
NOT riding track bikes (or components) on the street.

jim-bob 04-02-08 09:39 AM

"Bars are $325, but you'll only need... THE TOPS!"

fly:yes/land:no 04-02-08 09:39 AM

don't forget about your carbon fiber wrench so you can change a flat and save weight. but wait, you have zipp tangente dimpled tubies glued on to your dura ace hubbed 32 spoked zipp 404 track rims littered with alleycat cards, so you can't really change your flat on your way back from the bar. oh well, at least everyone will be able to watch your slow ass cruising with that massive 45x18 gearing, carbon fiber gleaming in the street light.

It's not riding track components on the street that's stupid; it's riding expensive track components whose only benefit is to shave fractions of seconds when maintaining minimum speeds of 35mph on a perfectly smooth surface and doing so on risers while wearing jeans and baseball caps.
Pro riders won't even waste comp wheels like that on their training bikes, but you have knuckleheads using them to go down stairs and practice bunnyhops.

genericbikedude 04-02-08 09:48 AM

an enormous wang trumps all of that crap
