Poetic justice.

*disclaimer: I was riding on the sidewalk in this story because it was 1:20am and I was on my freeride bike with the saddle slammed, which doesn't like to exceed 10mph.

As I was leaving Evan and Dan's apartment this weekend and crossing the street to the sidewalk on the opposite side, a Chrysler Sebring came out of nowhere with a bunch of drunk kids that thought it would be hilarious to floor the gas, swerve at me, honk their horn and yell unintelligible drunken slurs at me. I caught a passing glimpse of the blonde-over-black dyed hair, which is a tribal symbol of the sorority/club girl. I knew immediately I was more than likely dealing with a car full of ******bags. With it being 1:20am, and being vastly out-numbered, I decided it was best to shake my head, let it slide and roll on home.

Seconds later, I heard another engine hit wide-open-throttle. I figured someone behind the first car was inspired to the same course of action, so I readied myself for another round of sophomoric shenanigans. Well, turns out the second car was actually the cop that was right behind them when they a) swerved drunkenly at me b) changed lanes without signaling c) yelled obscenities d) layed on their horn for no reason e) careened recklessly around a corner, possibly through a red light. This is one of the few times I was happy to see a cop. Needless to say, the cop pulled them over within a block, and two more officers quickly responded and came on the scene since there were about 5 kids stuffed into the Sebring, looking suspiciously like this. As I rode by on the sidewalk, feet from where the driver was getting grilled, I couldn't help but smile as I overheard the cop ask the driver:

"So, how many is a few?"

I gave the whole scene the thumbs-up and big cheesey grin comforted by the knowledge that someone would be getting a DUI.

Bikes: never enough

the ******bags picture and the blonde over black are the same

B+

would have been an A+ if not for the double use of the same picture.

+1 on the hair, my wife just got it done and I just keep her on her back as much as I can.

OP- +100 for a great story and the imagery was nice too, but the last pic of the boy band overly tan don king looking like I'm falling out of a building haircuts was just plain creepy. I think I'll use it to scare my kids when they are old enough.

hahaha, nothing like witnessing a DUI. My girlfriend and I had ridden to safeway the other night at about 11 to get some snacks and as we were getting ready to take off watched someone get pulled over and served hard. Didnt stick around to see if it was DUI status, but it looked to be that way from what I caught as we rode by.

blonde over black dye jobs can be kind of hot, don't be ashamed.

Its good to know that the worthless people that **** with cyclists get ****ed right back, even though it's only .0001% of the time. I hope the driver got a DUI.
