An old thread, but I could use some advice. I'm pretty sure I want to get an IRO Angus. I'm 6' 1" with a 32" inseam. I'm not sure if I should go for a 56 or 59. I've read they tend to run a bit small, so I'm leaning toward a 59. The top tube seems to be about right(57cm), but I'm not sure if the standover(33in) would be suitable. FWIW, a 56 Motobecane Messenger fits about perfectly. Maybe someone's ridden both and can compare sizing wise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To answer your question, I would go with the 59. And even then, it might fit a little small. I'm 5'11" and ride a 59 (which is more like a 56) (BTW angus and mark v geometry and sizing is exactly the same), and it's perfect. The best thing you can do is ride one if you can find a shop that has one and will let you.

I'm about 6'1", and I just got a 59cm. It may be a bit small for me (the seat is pretty far up), but so far I am finding it quite comfortable.
