doin the BB twist

Twisted my spindle apart today so that the left crank popped off. It felt pretty weird. Yeah, it was an old co-op spindle, but I've never heard of anything like this happening. Not one to be seen walking a bike, I just powercranked it for the rest of the day - which doesn't feel as good as it looks, BTW. All bragging aside, this is just one more wake-up call to the james deans out there to PUT A GD BRAKE ON YOU BIKE!
