To raise spirits.
My first paint job, with the mistake of not practicing on something else first, and being baked out of my mind for the whole job.
Sorry I don't have a before, it was a brown (**** BROWN, not a nice pretty Champagne) Univega.
It's pretty simple, you really just have to tone down on the ******* factor.

Fork is gloss black, rest of bike is flat black. This had to be an accident otherwise it would indicate thought was possible by the OP. Most likely he simply picked up two cans at the store and didn't bother to read the can or even compare the shiny versus the flat black of the caps.

uhhhh... I think it was a bad idea to paint it still intact. You should have 1) Taken it apart 2) Not painted the lube-sensitive chain 3) left the cahinrind alone so you don't get paint all over your shoes/pants/socks 4) sanded and primed it 5) LEFT IT THE **** ALONE!!!!!

Just your standard fare ace variety paints.
I didn't properly prime or finish it, mistakes I learned from for the new job I'm about to do on it as I convert it.
That one chipped quite a bit just from impacts with my lock, hopefully this one will hold up better.

you guy's?
i think this is pretty obvious, no one would paint a nice bike like that, as crappy as he did.
this bike is STOLEN and the paint is a quick cover up, so the bike would not be noticeable.
duh.

as a vintage ss conversion owner, i am puzzled and disappointed by the popular trends in fixie/ss paint jobs today...especially on frames that begin in such good condition as this one did.

hahahahaha, he did straight up hosed the entire thing.
probably the worst paint job i've ever seen.
OP, please post another photo in like a week when the paint on all of the moving parts and contact points have chipped away and it looks like it belongs in a landfill (as if it already doesn't)
