this should help you with the fixed gear hipsters.

just replace skateboards with bikes and you got it.
dont rip it off though, just use it as a template.
leg over mounting technique
wierd **** they wear (fake wayfarers and low profile caps with the brims bent up)
mini u locks in the back pocket
old sneakers
pabst blue ribbon
elitist attitude
hatred for cars
bmx stereotypes.. iunno.. bmx-ers look like alot of people. you cant look at one and be like "hey that guy rides bmx" like you'd look at some kid with puffy, blown up supra's, krew jeans and baggy shirt and identify him as a skateboarder.
but:
dickies, pearl snaps, bmx gloves (worn even in class)
i can't think of any silly stereotypes.

well if you're going to be as unoriginal as everyone else by mocking bicycle culture just hit up youtube and copy everything you see. Clearly you don't have anything original planned anyways so just do what every film maker does at one point and copy someone else's work and call it a day.

that would be so bad ass! you know the pennyfarthing guys would lay waste with old-world brutality. but then you'd have those conniving recumbent riders getting in the way all the time.

Step 1: buy ticket to PDX
Step 2: Catch cab/MAX downtown
Step 3: Go to Stumptown Coffee for 1 hour with video camera and an aerospoke
Step 4: Turn in project
Step 5: Eat at the Montage and get Giant Gnome to go bag to eat yur delicious Mac n' Cheese on your Flight home.
Good Luck!

fixed-gear cyclists should be sitting around arguing about who's more hardcore while drinking cheap beer, then all go hop on their tarck bikes and ride to a coffee shop (with a mess of various-camera-angle action shots), but when they get to the coffee shop it should be clear it was on the same block.
also... during the mess of camera angle shots I think there should be individual freeze-frame shots of the riders, with a little on screen textual description (along the lines of possenger; clingsenger - my new made up name for people like me who were once messengers, but it was a pathetically long time ago and really we should stop talking about it by now; and then definitely one person who drove across town with his/her tarck bike on the back of their car)
I know, I know... too specific and too snarky.

on an actually related note:
shouldnt you have a pretty firm grasp on the culture you plan to mock BEFORE you start trying to mock it?

the few BMX dudes I know are zitty teens who listen to 311 (rollerbladers listen to that too). oh wait, I'm just thinking of rollerbladers. never mind.
but can you include those in your story too, as well as skateboarders that dress like Christian Hosoi and roll around in packs on the back of Tony Hawk's Pizza Hut delivery truck?
