Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? you get +10 style points for your "crash"

and loosing them because your not explaining how a concrete wall moves (dont go all "when 2 or more objects collide there is an equal and opposite reaction, therefore the concrete wall moved into the bike on impact" or something like that)

Hmm...this looks like it drew up some good questions, actually just one really bad one, and another okay one, and then some questions

Q1: Why did I ride into a "Moving" Concrete wall?
A1 (a): I was avoiding a herd of kittens, and it was the concrete wall or a wall covered in rusty nails.
A1 (b): I was avoiding a car, and the moving concrete wall was hanging off the back of a pick up.
A1 (c): I was doing a No hand, no leg, no eye, no ear, no anything skid, and the wall just came out of nowhere.
A1 (d): I was actually just ****ing around had been trying some new tricks and I rode into the wall a few times, and before I knew it, it was broken.

Q2: What about these cheapo Halifax track frames?
A2: I am a traveling student, I live in Halifax for school, but not I am in Toronto and Apparently there are $250 framesets available.

Statements:
I am not here to get lectured on what I should or shouldn't do on my bike, I am here to ask what should I replace it with. So stop with the statements about how it happened because that isn't what I posted this for.

Another thing, I had no intentions of "scamming" the warranty of Fuji or SE, I knew what I did was not covered by the typical warranty program, so don't lecture me on that either.

All I want a frame that will last, not something that will just implode the first time I ride it. So as far as I can see, Sparton Track frames have been added to the list. So which IRO is it going to be, should I go BMW, or should I get this Local $250 frameset?

EDIT: The point of " I went into an objecting moving at a considerably lower speed than I, straight on." was to hopefully get less questions. I didn't want how it happened to be the focal point of the thread, but its too late.

That actually probably would have been better. But I don't care, I just need a new frame, and it looks like no one is going to help me here. Maybe someone can just tell me what is the beefiest IRO frame is, along with the shipping times and duty to Canada.

No not herpes, SARS! I was riding away from SARS, when I hit the wall trying to dodge the kittens.

ideally a give and take relationship is established in these threads. The op wants help, but everyone else wants a little something in return - viz. EXACTLY how you broke your frame. So don't get all whiny.

so wait... now the story's changed to reflect multiple collisions with this wall?

you don't want a bicycle, you want a wrecking ball.

Yes, thats exactly what I want actually, just make sure the wrecking ball can have 700c wheels mounted, and have enough room for 700c x 28 tires.

**Actually I realized this thread wasn't going to be productive at all, so I just scrapped it and started to have fun. So if anyone wants to actually answer my legit questions feel free, if not I'm glad to entertain you all for a while longer.

PS. Trix = Sugary cereal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trix_Rabbit)
So if riding into walls gets me cereal, I will definitely continue doing what I am doing.

Question: How come Bikeforums is so narrow minded? I need an answer as to which IRO frame is strongest.

End Note: What I do with my bike doesn't really matter now does it? Because I am pretty sure that me ****ing around in parks, on ledges rails and walls doesn't change how any of you ride. I just need a new frame, so help me with that.

No one has more than one. How do you compare? What do you mean narrow minded? How about scatter brained instead?

I think he's referring to us being such fuddy-duddies with our "why would you ride into a concrete wall on purpose, not just once but multiple times?" questions/comments...

In the future, if there's no hope of you curtailing your colliding-with-concrete-wall habit, perhaps you could at least cut back?

No pegs, I am working on bottom bracket and bash guard, does that make you happier?

so Rob Roy it is? not Angus because of the thin tubing.

And I was referring to the fact that Bikeforums took 1.5 pages to answer my initial question, because we are to focused on the wrong things all the time. At least I am riding fixed not like the 5+ possengers (? these dudes riding free who are dressed to the part but cant step up to an actual fg and ride singlespeed everywhere trying to pass it off as fixed) I saw riding around yesterday. But no difference, I don't really care if people dont like what im doing as long as I am having fun im happy

If you're dead set on riding into defenseless walls, have you thought about a nice bmx or dirt jump bike? They'll hold up a little better to that kind of stupid senseless abuse.
