As stated upthread, their "warehouse" is QBP, which serves most bike shops in this country. Your LBS can order you anything aebike can get you and have it in about 3 business days, less in the midwest. It won't be as cheap, but hey, then you'll still have something to complain about and the internet won't die for lack of whining.
Second, I order online all the time, get great prices and my items arrive within a week.
Nowhere on ebikestop.com's website does it say that they order from another warehouse. Not in plain view, anyway. My item says "normally ships in 2-3 days". This took a week.
And third, here's the latest.... I was tracking the package today. They shipped through DHL, ground service. Today's entry was that it arrived in my city and was tendered at the local USPS. So i give DHL a call and they said that since the shipper specified home delivery (its going to my office, btw) it gets dropped off at the local USPS facility and then USPS delivers it... 2-3 days later.
Ummm... yeah, I think I'll stick to one of the many other reputable online shops. Ebikestop gets crossed off the list.
Back to the original subject of this post.... AEbike... i ordered a rear wheel built up from them last week. Their website said it takes up to 5 business days to build and ship. Got my notification after exactly 5 business days that it has shipped. So for that they were right on time according to their website. And I saved over $100 on the i-motion 9 hub alone. That's a lot of weed.

Before now, i'd never dealt with Alfred E Bike.
I won't ever again.
I ordered a pair of alex da28 rims on the 18th (last friday).
It wasn't until the evening of the 24th that UPS even recieved the package; i won't be getting it until the 28th.
Not sure if others have had similar issues with them, but i figured i'd let you know. Their prices are OK, but they really drag their feet when shipping.

While all the online bike shops share the same QBP ordering system, aEbike takes a much smaller bite in terms of profit. I've gotten two Cross-Check frames for $300 each, including shipping.
I'm sorry you had to wait a whole 10 days to get a set of rims, I only hope they included a Brooks saddle to compensate you.
