Seinfeld: The bike

Jerry Seinfeld has a mountain bike hanging in his apartment, I noticed that the bike changes over the seasons. In season 7 its a lime green Klein.

Anyone want to watch all 9 seasons and tell me what bikes he goes thru just because I want you to?

i'll volunteer my services for seasons 2-9 but someone's gotta cover season 1.

bikes pop up a lot in seinfeld. they pass by a bike shop frequently on the street. they aren't as frequently referenced as superman is but still noticeable

i can't quite recall how many changes there were. Only two, i think.
I'm pretty sure it started as a Klein, then in season 2 or 3 it switched to a Cannondale or something similar. But then people started to point out that Jerry having a bike from a Jewish bike manufacturer made sense, so they switched back to Klein.

Episode 1 of season 7 has a pink girls stingray in it. Kramer rides it down the street. It was hilarious and I wanted one.

The green Klein was lent to the show's producers by Michael Richards. It is his personal bike.

I pay attention to this lots... I'm on all seasons.

I know for a FACT that there are at LEAST 2 Klein's that are used. The Green one and other.

Wasn't the fork backwards on the original Klein, then the silver and blue Cannondale, then the Klein again with fork on properly? Interesting portrait:

A little research..

The green Klein is a 1993 Klein Rascal
And there was also a Cannondale Super Killer V

There are two episodes that I know of where the Klein's fork is installed backwards, one being the "Mulva" episode.

Just a reminder- they filmed the show on a lot in Hollywood. Specialized probably arranged for that
stuff to be shown.

Most certainly Hobart. Seinfeld, god bless it, was rife with product placement.
