Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

How would one go about getting the pedals to sit in an upright riding position?

Is there fishing line involved?

Bikes: How'd I get this many?

Here comes some blasphemy...the Yamaguchi has potential, but doesn't cut it.

The welds at the headtube are unsightly. The fork is offensive. The seatpost stays/stay are ugly.

I'd also rather see it with low-profile rims and a slimmer saddle.

Hey, I'd take the frame and revamp the overall set-up, but as is I wouldn't commit apotemnophilia to get it

The Makino works it over in every way. It has a nice overall synthesis, without an ugly fork and stays to screw it up.
