Need a cheap wheelset, DP18s?
I'm looking for a cheep fixed wheelset for an old road bike I'm converting. Most of the eBay stores have DP18s for $199 which seems a bit steep. A few posts around here mentioned $130-140 for a set, any store suggestions? I'm just looking for a black rimset with black spokes/hub. I'll look into any other rim suggestions as well (equal or lesser priced, of course )

+1 they also have silver cxp22 w/ formulas at bicyclewheels.com
it's what i ride on my beater bike and they've been very good so far.
if you do some searches DPs get mixed reviews for durability...

Not a huge fan of the stickers (removeable, maybe?) but they're fairly cheap and shipping is free

bells bike shop sells dp18s/formulas on ebay for $135ish i think. call the shop if you don't see what you're looking for on ebay at any given time -- they almost definitely have some in stock.

can't complain about the CXP22/Formula combo. I have had two sets now on different bikes and they are still going strong for $140 bucks.. it is hard to beat.
