Skidz with Eggbeaters & Sidi Dominator 5 shoes?

Will my shoes break? The sole doesn't look that sturdy, so I'm worried it might snap if I pull up too hard for a skid.
Any personal experiences?

here's hopin'!!!

you'll be fine. people have been doing so for ages with no complaints. do a search for egg beaters vs. atacs and you'll see what people do with fixed+clipless.

I ride this exact setup and it's fine. I don't balls-to-the-stem skid anymore since you get enough power in clipless to seatskid effortlessly. Tho I'm going back to clipsnstraps for now...

I've only ridden about 5 miles so far, and I don't think I'll be going back to clips anytime soon...it's such a hassle flipping the pedal and reaching down all the time.

Thanks Economic Stimulus Check for my new bike gear!

I use that same combo. Once I did a 2-block skid on a hilly rainy road; true story.
