Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Time-trial lever on flop-n-chops?

Has anyone else tried putting time-trial brake levers on a flopped & chopped drop handlebar cut at the bend? My main concern would be that the bend would prevent adequate seating of the lever in the bar.

This person seems to have done it okay: https://fixedgeargallery.com/2008/may...lakeCondry.htm

Edit: If it makes a difference, I may be picking up a single Tektro RX 4.1 lever on CL: https://corvallis.craigslist.org/bik/689858843.html

it seems from the pic that it will work, whether or not the angle will be desirable is your opinion
