Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i'm sorry but i can't take ANYTHING seriously when the author can't use the words "to" and "too" correctly.

Edit: oh, sweden. nevermind. that makes a lot more sense.

the problem is, most people's diywb's are going to look like absolute trash.

Anything open source will have a lot of variants, and among "absolute trash" will emerge absolute brilliance.

Thanks.

If anyone are interested in making their own DIYWBC just send med an email at diywbc@erikbjork.com and I will send you some tips and the drawings.

Until now I have sent the drawings to 53 people in USA, Canada, England, Germany and New Zealand

If I get some time in the end of this summer I will start a forum for wooden bicycles.

Sweet! Great idea! I have the plans for the bamboo trailer, I can just see a home made bike to go along with it. It will also be very interesting to see how this design evolves over time too. Bravo!
