Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

m. night is a loser tool wannabe hitchcock. Don't doubt.

Signs was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

He's telling the media that there is no twist in the film...which...must be the twist.

I thought Signs was amazing. To each his own.

this is why they make more than one movie.

m. night shamalamadingdong (or whatever) ranges all over the place, from brilliant to crap. i mean, yes, unbreakable is still the best superhero movie ever made and the sixth sense was brilliant... but did you see 'lady in the water'? ack! a drunk hal hartley could have shot a better movie on his cell phone.

i reserve judgement.

ha!! nice.

i just think that "the village" was the worst movie that ever tried to be good.

the problem with actually pushing the envelope and trying to be really good in the way that things have been really good before is that it's so easy to fail. the villiage was an incredible failure.

the happening, however, looks cool.

i'll see it.

batman is waaay less ostentatious, and waaay more genuinely ****ing enjoyable with formidable assets in all accounts. plot is awesome, acting is awesome, cinematography is awesome, direction is awesome, editing is awesome... it's well done in a way that things have been well done before, but the volume is turned up and the subject matter and design has been changed to make it more badass.

what's so horrendous about M night's movies is that his movies ooze with ego and engineered suspense. they suspend the emotional payoff so obviously that it's like they're yelling condescension at you through the screen. it's horribly and illegitimately ostentatious.

hopefully this one will be less like that but i doubt it.

M. night sucks. Sixth sense was cool, but a broken clock is right two times a day. If you forget that one, all the rest suck. Signs sucked, unbreakable sucked, The Village sucked. suck suck suck
