Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I usually ride with a lowepro bag inside my messengerbag, but for riding/snowboarding with the 80-200 attached to the camera i use my boblbee megalopolis with a homemade foam insert.

A Crumpler looks no worse than most of the messenger bags out there. It has good padding, is waterproof, and you can get one that fits your camera + lenses. Crumpler bags almost look like city bags or small shoulder bags in general. If you have to carry your photo gear alone (as in not inside a large messenger bag), I think Crumper is the way to go.

i wear a waistbag when i ride anyway, but DSLRs with battery grips are not easy to carry around.
