Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

skit- don't let these guys get you down. They need to change the title of this forum anyways from "singlespeed & fixed gear" to "singlespeed & fixed gear (unless: it has a front brake, a wrapped frame, a frame newer than the 1800's, less than 90 gear inches, any part that was made by a company consisting of more than 2 people, has road drops, or has been bought by more than one person at any time....." whew!

djbowen- the rims on my car are buried in snow, I'll check next spring.

to all- anyone want a chrome seat?

jeff

If you can't give it away, save it and maybe all Chicagoans can gather spare/older usable parts and donate them to Working Bikes:
