broken spoke and sheared valve stem.
So I was riding home from a local drinking establishment, some how one way or another, I managed to launch over the handlebars, and when I was collecting myself, started walking my stead, and noticed an odd rattle, I apparently broke a spoke. By the time I got home my front tire was flat, upon closer inspection my valve stem was sheared off at the stem nut. How is that possible?

that's like saying a gun and a knife are the same either way. they're not. they're both stupid and dangerous but one's so much more than the other that it doesn't follow that you should be berating him for it.
he's lucky he didn't fall into the street in front of a bus, but let's not go wishing that on him just yet, okay?

If you we're drinking Guinness from a bottle I'd say that your opener fell out of the hole in your pocket, went down your pant leg during the top of your rotation and sheared that little ****er (your valve stem I mean) right off.
If you were drinking scotch, hell, you might have pulled it right off with your bare hands as you got up and not even realized it. Scotch definitely makes you that strong.
