I do not think the pedals were installed wrong, because I installed them myself, AND it isn't hard to install a pedal. It shouldn't have happened. It has never happened to me before.

UPDATE:

After this episode, I was looking to buy brand new cranks. After some phone calls, I drew a few conclusions.

1. Don't bother calling SRAM yourself. The guy straight up told me that he couldn't talk to me because I am not a distributor. Oh well

2. Don't bother calling KHS, because they are no help either.
-Me- Hi, I am looking for a 165mm Truvativ Touro non-drive crank arm that came on your bike. Do you have any spares around?
-Them- Well, I am pretty sure those were spec'ed just for our bikes. I am not sure though. Maybe you should try talking to SRAM about it, because I really don't know.
-Me- You don't know if they were spec-ed for your bikes?
-Them- No. Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful.
-Me- Alright.... thanks anyways...

Anyways...

After calling around and talking to KHS dealers with no prevail, I ended up talking to a different person from my LBS. He was older and EXTREMELY helpful. After unsuccessfully finding the crank arm in their books he said he would call them the next day. He found a crank arm, and I received it today. It is a different model and color, but it is 165mm, fits the power spline BB, and WORKS. haha It has a different bend, but whatever.. it's close enough and it only cost me $20 instead of new cranks. It's a Truvativ ISO-Flow.

My Touros are over a year old and have been on 3 different bikes. Not one problem.

I also know how to properly install/tighten a pedal.

I was wondering why I didn't recognize any of these peoples names... Didn't bother to check dates.

honestly just get the sram omniums from bikeisland black or silver 164 shipped! best bang for your buck right there

my kazane are still great, two years plus later.

omnoms are too expensive. they're great cranks, but there are cranks that are better bang for buck.

lol at 'pedal fell off, cranks are bad!'
