they run pretty small, if you normally ride a 53 a 55 alien would fit you best from what i've heard. I have a 53cm and it's working good for me

I'm more in the 48-49cm range, so I think the 53 would still be large. Thanks though.

and I'm 5'10" with a 30.5 in inseam.

Prolly, since 55 Alien is c-t, so 53 c-c.

what is the tire clearance on these frames? would they fit 25s?

I also have a honey-brown brooks swift that's more antique brown than honey. I'm curious if that would look decent on their orange frame along with silver vintage components and silver open pros.

I have Conti 28s on mine.

This is what Joseph sent to me when i asked him this same question a few months back:

"The rear will fit just about anything, the front is tighter. The biggest tire I have used is a Michelin Pro2Race 700x25. It measures 27-28mm on my rims. It just barely fits."

Probably can't fit fenders under there, i would imagine.

I've got Planet X Speedez clipon fenders fr/rr., though the front is tight as hell. But yeah, up to a 28 could fit up front if it came down to it.
