Colnago or not to colnago

I am not very knowledgeable about the value of older bikes but I have been looking at this Colnago on craigslist. I would like to get it for $500. Is it worth it?

before one of the more cranky users jump on this and rip you a new one, might I suggest that you move this thread to the "Classic & Vintage" forum? I'm sure you'll find they are a wealth of knowledge

You could part it out, make some cash on the deal and go with an ENO hub. No problems with converting any bike in my opinion if you're gonna ride it. (Just don't even dream of grinding, sawing or filing off anything. Period)
