Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? complete single speed bikes in England

Hi everyone,

I'm doing some research for a friend, and wanted to know what complete single speed bikes are available in England, UK?

I know of charge and SE bikes but wanted to know what else is available? are bianchi or swobos available here? also what are peoples experiences, opinions of the bikes? i dont think he's keen on going down the DIY route.

Thanks in advance

IRO ships world wide.

OnOne has several available.

Kona has several in their line up.

Sjs Cycles should have some.

And there is a great London shop with many, but sadly the name escapes me. Someone will chime in with it soon enough.

I'm guessing you mean Condor Cycles on Gray's Inn Road? They are a good shop, and also sell lots of their own ss/fg frames which seem nice, and are hugely popular with commuters.

Exactly! Thanks. A friend of mine bought one in London and rode it back to Riga. He loves it.
