Can we get the specs on the 55cm? I'm trying to decide if that or the 53 will work better for me.

Bikes: centurion dave scott expert

can't wait to be able to preorder one of the cream colored pros. Hopefully I can actually get my hands on one of these this time around.

+1 for a spec sheet for the pros.

I really think I'll like the Cream -- but the orange is fantastic

That looks really good. With my recent Iro plans squashed, either the Kilo TT or Pro will be my next bet.

Alright guys..

first to bikes direct i appreciate you being able to bring this great bike to us

now i have a question to the public

a bike shop in nyc quoted me 580 for an IRO mark V with deep v's.

but the kilo tt pro has the sugino crank and is around 500..

i'm pretty much set on the pro, does anyone else object?

Me too I just prepaid for my "grape soda" Kilo

question: ------>

" PrePay now for the best price and selection. The INSTOCK price maybe more."

i understand that it is smart to buy now, for all the sizes are in stock. . . but why would the INSTOCK price of the bike maybe be more??

You may have noticed bike prices are going up 15% to 25%
and in fact some of our competitors have increased SS/FG bike prices by 67% in the last month or so

I am trying to keep our prices the same even though our costs on bikes have gone up. In fact, I have spent a good bit of time getting lower costs from transportation companies, insurance companies, and others to try and keep prices low.

I think it is important to keep SS/FG in a low price range with high quality as the same time.

However, when oil comes up, materials go up, and the USD goes down -- there is a lot of pressure to increase prices.

I think i speak for a lot of people one here by saying, thanks for offering legit bikes at a fair price. I really think your company has allowed many people to get into fixed gear riding which i think is a great thing. Also i think by having the prices you do have you are able to beat out companies like IRO and other $500-$700 bikes, just because of what you're offering as well. Keep up the good work.

bikesdirect dot com. . i completely understand the prices are going up. no problem with that, that's just the way it works.

I was just wondering why it'd be more if you waited. It's the same bike, preordered or not. But looking forward to seeing more for sure.

Bikes: 2008 Mercier Kilo TT

could be an incentive to get people to go ahead and commit to purchasing, and would be mutually beneficial: you potentially pay less, and he gets the money ahead of time.
