Those pictures are rather large.

I do believe a Flite will be my first fixed-gear bike though.

dude, resize the photos.

I personally don't think it's $200 better than the Kilo TT (same bike in case you didn't know)

Bikes: A few BSO's.

Take better pictures. Back up a little so you get the subject in focus and then crop in if you want to.
I know, you were excited, I would be too. Just don't get spooge on it.

missionhills bike, sandiego ca.

only comes in 'gun metal/dark grey'

its flippin sweet tho.

p.s. id say threadless headset, sealed BB, crank, saddle, lbs support and khs warranty = better than $200 saved on kilo. thats just mho tho..

yeah I guess if you compare it to the Kilo TT Pro ($479), $550 is pretty reasonable (i like the KHS' wheels better too)

How do you stop a brakeless bike with no foot retention?

iuno, sh*t happens.
Fixed gear is fun!
I plan on getting a front brake and freewheel anyway tho..

With where and the way I ride, it would be dumb not to have a brake.

Bikes: slap slap slap!

I spoke with someone at KHS a couple days ago and they said the 09 flite 100's would come in white and the sizing would be the same as 08'. And didn't even have a spec sheet on it yet. Where are you getting this from? sounds like a fake to me.

the Kilo TT is also being offered in 55cm now too, why do you think it's fake? It's quite possible that KHS hasn't updated their geo listings to include the new 55cm size.

ROFL, why would i fake photos and make this up?
just asking..

but ya, i called khs about upgrading to a carbon fork.. and when i ask customer service what deg. of rake i needed to not change my geo, they told me they didnt even make the bike in a 55cm.. but when i absolutely insisted that they did, because i was touching one as we spoke he went and asked someone in the office.

he quickly came back on and apologize and told me that the 55cm has a 28deg. rake on the fork. beyond that the bike is actually flat black. i know i said it was dark grey before but now that ive owned it for more than 45min. i realize its totally black. i switched up some stuff(pursuit bars, brakes/levers) and i like it even more now. ill post up another pic of the thing later.

p.s. i think they cheaped out a little more on the components this year(no name crank and i dont think the fg cog is DA anymore..) but the thing is still super sweet. all it needs is a wheelset..

Bikes: 2000 Raleigh M50. 2006 Raleigh Rush Hour. 2008 Cannondale Synapse 6.

that's a lot of spacers. maybe you should have gone a size up if you don't like a lot of drop.

Anyone care to call this mission hills bike shop and ask for the 09? Well I did cause I live near by and they said they haven't even received them yet and they still had 1 08' model in stock and like KHS stated to me. "those won't ship until November". ROFL So you tell me why you'd lie about it davewins?
