anybody know a remedy for this?? new brake calipers? :P Heat... you probably wont hear it on very hot days... i'm not saying microwave them... but if the surfaces were softer they probably wouldn't make any noise. I'm not sure the remedy for this. |

I really like the angles of the Langster but, to my eye, the tubes are too thick (plus I already have an aluminium track frame). Is there a steel frameset that is similar to it? Any ideas?

^^^ very nice! I really need to paint my Langster, I love the ride/handling and was keen on the look until I started seeing a lot sexyier looking machines on the street. I think painting it would be a start.

Here's mine.
Pretty sure it's an 05, maybe an 06 S-works frame. Whole bike cost me under 850 to build, which I think is pretty damn good for starting with that frame. Frame's a 61, I think these things look better the bigger they get. People can say whatever they want about Langsters, but I love this thing. Super solid bike, light as hell, and rides true. I'm a happy camper. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...3/IMG_6645.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...3/IMG_6654.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...3/IMG_6651.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...3/IMG_6648.jpg Lemme know what you think. |
I hate langsters, but that ^ is VERY nice looking.

That brake cable routing needs immediate attention.
|
^that's also true.

Where'd ya get the cheap S-Works frame?
Is that a dent in the drive-side chain-stay? |

Is that a dent in the drive-side chain-stay? And in regards to the brake cable; it's definitely on the short side, but it works perfectly, never binds or anything. And it probably looks odd cuz it comes out of the trigger side of the assembly. I think longer would be even more awkward. |
i have this same lever..... so annoying. is there a special cable to use? what happens if you route it the normal way? (its an in-line lever, i think thats why)

I thought my seat was high on a 61. Daaaaaammn man
